Shevchenko faced Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina's striking skills were superior and allowed her to TKO Nievera via knees in the body. Following this victory Antonina was able to sign an UFC contract. Antonina was offered an UFC contract following her win. Shevchenko won the fight with a unanimous decision. She lost her next fight against Roxanne Modafferi by split decision. Antonina rebounded from her loss to defeat Lucie Pudilova via rear-naked choking submission in the second round at UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the bonus fight of the night for this fight. Shevchenko has a record of 1-2 over her next three bouts she won over Ariane Lipski, while losing to Katlyn Clarkagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina suffered a loss to Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO in the second round of UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
